Design & Build Quality
We’ve gone the extra mile for their customers with the design and build quality of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra. The S8 Pro Ultra is 350 millimetres wide with a cleaning depth of 353 millimetres, making it perfect to go underneath couches, beds and other hard-to-reach areas. It also works seamlessly with the Roborock docking station with Auto-Emptying functionality, allowing it to empty its 0.35L dust collection hub automatically.
Made of a hard plastic exterior, it’s perfect for accidental bumps with furnishing corners, table legs, or even your feet without causing injury. Its navigation system uses state-of-the-art laser distance sensors, smart mapping, automatic routing and obstacle detection. It is also compatible with the Roborock app, allowing users to control many cleaner features, schedule cleanings, and remotely change the onboard navigation systems to create ‘no-go zones’, or areas that the Roborock vacuum will avoid during it’s cleaning routine.

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra also has a catalogue of 42 objects in its onboard navigation computer that it will automatically avoid. This obstacle catalogue is created by 3D representations within the computer system that tell the Roborock vacuum to avoid that obstacle, these include pet waste, scales, wires, power bars, trainers and slippers, dustpans and fabric.
Using PreciSense LiDAR technology, the Roborock vacuum and mop combo will automatically detect surface changes beneath it and begin mopping, or you can set this feature in the Roborock app.

Battery-Life & Charging
Another impressive feature of the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is its battery life. This fantastic little machine has a run time of 180 minutes in quiet mode but also has onboard tech to tell it when it’s running low. It will then automatically return to the Roborock ultra dock, recharge its batteries (which takes roughly 6 hours from near-empty), and then return to where it left off.
Alternatively, you can use your Roborock app to tell your Roborock vac when to charge itself and resume its run at a specific time. User-Friendly App Control
Speaking of the Roborock app, it is one of the best things about the newer Roborock vacuum and mop systems! The app can be installed on both Android and Apple devices and integrates an easy-to-use interface, allowing owners to create rooms for the Roborock vac to tackle, complete with naming functions to give the robot something to refer to.
Additionally, your Roborock app allows you to engage child locks and turn the robot’s lights on and off to minimise disturbances if it is cleaning at night. The application will also allow you to control the robot’s ability to automatically extend and retract the height of it’s brushes to adapt to different flooring surfaces.
You can also set your robot’s cleaning schedules via the application to allow you to either schedule a whole-house clean or tell the Roborock vacuum to clean specific rooms on certain days. This is perfect for those with family members who come and go, allowing their rooms to be closed off when they’re not there and then cleaned again when they are.
Multi-Level Cleaning
Known as “multi-level cleaning,” this feature enables your Roborock S8 Pro Ultra to be pre-programmed to clean specific types of floors in different rooms. The multi-level cleaning feature also allows your Roborock to switch between mopping and vacuuming when it detects flooring and carpets in the same space.
Most of this information can be relayed to the Roborock vac using the Roborock app. Multi-level cleaning will also ensure that your Roborock retracts its brushes when running on non-carpeted flooring to avoid scratching them.

Maintenance and Care
